We saw something happen in the domain aftermarket this week that we've never seen before. There was a stunning wave of 3-letter .com sales including 15 of them at $40,000 apiece at the AfternicDLS alone! Those totaled a tidy $600,000. All told 18 of the 30 positions on our expanded Top 30 sales chart went to 3-letter .coms including the #1 domain - CPC.com, sold for a whopping $201,750 at Moniker.com.
That was one three six-figure sales this week. The other big guns were 248.com and Coffee.org, both sold at Sedo.com. 248.com commanded an impressive $175,000 while Coffee.org brewed up an even $100,000 in the biggest .org sale reported so far this year.

Those big sales were followed by an unprecedented 15-way tie for the 4th position thanks to all of those 3-letter sales at the AfternicDLS. Last week the Senior VP and General Manager of NameMedia's Domain Marketplace (which includes the AfternicDLS) Peter Lamson told us that the company had a record quarter in 1Q-2008 and that business continued to look good early in the second quarter as well. Today he told me May wound up being the best sales month in the company's history. Quite a contrast from the unrelenting bad news coming out of real world real estate companies these days.
The other 3-letter .coms on the Big Board this week were #19 TOA.com, sold for $35,300 at NameJet.com and #23 MIF.com which went for €17,000 ($26,259) at Sedo. There were only two non .com sales on the elite all-extension list, Coffee.org and #24 Televisions.tv, a name that NameBroker.tv sold through Sedo for $25,000.

Todo bien y confirmado , al parecer los "whois" se siguen actualizando , varios comprados pro "Big Foot" el abominable hombre de las Nieves.
Por lo gral el editor no los anuncia/publica hasta que el whois cambia de manos, ya ven que "pizzan" cosas extranyas...
(lastima siguen siendo ventas entre dominieros pero ventas al fin...)
