Bueno anoche casi creia que vendia un nombre, un tipo me contacto por email ofreciendome $15K por un nombre, y luego me dijo que lo unico es que necesitaba se evaluado el nombre, el tipo me envio este link:

que supuestamente aparece el aqui como "isaacks" , y me dijo que era inversionista de real estate etc, .. como nunca de hecho he creido en la valorizacion de dominios personal o con webs, le envie mi oferta pero buscando mas en "domain valuations" etc, me encontre este post:

Y es exactamente lo que este tipo me estaba enviando todo el patron de la estafa estaba ahi.

Es un truco bastante viejo, creo que mas o menos a todos los domainers nos ha llegado alguna vez uno de esos emails.

Si buscas en el foro, encontrarás muchos post hablando sobre este tema. Si quieren valoración, que la hagan ellos. Igualmente, es muy raro recibir oferta y que luego te digan de hacer una valoración.. Eso les delata.

A todos creo que nos ha llegado alguna vez algun correo de estos...
Una manera de averiguar estas estafas es decirles que lo valoren ellos primero y que luego en el precio de compra se les descontara el coste de la valoracion, de esta manera nadie pierde nada, pero la mayoria de ellos no te vuelven a escribir mas por que esto no le interesa, o simplemente no lo aceptan y te dicen que lo valores tu, entonces ya sabes que es un estafa.....Mi Blog Dominios En Venta -

No hace falta tener una cubierta angelical, basta con un mínimo sentido común y con el buscador de Demene donde esto se ha repetido unas 89 veces...(Hueso no fabrica para otras marcas)

A mí si me han llegado esos y otros que me ofrecen
dominios exactos a los mios pero con otras extensiones.
Será que han pagado por ver todos mis dominios?
he visto que en whois.sc al ver un dominio te sale
evidentemente el registrante pero veo que también
pone que ese registrante, en este caso yo, tiene xxx dominios
más a parte del que has hecho "whois", y le invitan a pagar
1000 y pico dolares para ver los dominios mios?

Se interesó por un dominio que acabo de registrar; primero fue el mail anterior y ante la respuesta de mi parte manifestando cuánto es lo que ofrece por dicho dominio me responde que quiere que la tasación se haga con una empresa que figure en: www.thenamepros.com/Archive/5298163.htm como por ejemplo: www.certifieddomainvalue.com/
Luego le respondí que únicamente aceptaba una tasación en Sedo.com y me respondió que no porque Sedo está denunciado en un foro que es una estafa...lo siguiente:
Unfortunately , Sedo is not acceptable as an appraiser because your names
are listed with them and they are not independent.
Moreover, SEDO is reported for fraud

Last but not least, they are interested in earning 10% commission on every

which is not interested in selling your domains.
I heard many appraisal companies often made inaccurate appraisals. So I
cannot accept appraisal from each and every site. I will only accept
appraisals from independent appraisal companies I know and trust.
I also don't like the policy of Sedo. They charge a high percent upon sale
and prohibit you to receive offers from other sites/brokers. This is not
honest. They only care about their profit not about sellers. There are
several brokers that don't require an exclusive representation. They allow
you to list your domains with several brokers (it increases your chances to
sell) and receive bids from other sites without limitation. So you may sell
your name any way you want, including direct sales via escrow.com and other
similar sites.
Al enviarles un mail diciendo que únicamente acepto tasación en una empresa elegida por mi; me responde lo siguiente:
I've found not all the appraisals are accurate. So I accept real manual appraisals from trusted sources only.
I don't trust $14-$20 services. Nobody will do a research for $14. We need a real manual service.
I researched several companies and here are the results:
I wanted to use AccurateDomains.com but looks like this company has a bad reputation.
I also considered www.Afternic.com, but now it's clear their service is not reliable enough.

los que ofrecen dominios idénticos a los tuyos pero con otras extensiones, es poque esos dominios están apunto de quedar libres. A mi me han ofrecido varias veces.
¿como funciona?
sencillo, imaginate que va a quedar libre patatasfritas.com entonces miran todos los propietarios de dominios como patatasfritas.net patatasfritas.info etc. Y les mandan a todos ellos un email para ofrecerles el dominio patatasfritas.com si alguno pica pues eso, les pagas lo que piden y se ganan un dinero sin hacer mucho trabajo.

Lo normal en este tipo de ofertas es que el ofertante/timador te ofrezca un dominio que no es suyo pero que va a quedar libre, si le dices que se lo compras por 100 euros él lo registra cuando queda libre y te lo vende. Por eso lo mejor es no contestar y esperar a que quede libre y registrarlo tú si te interesa. Si te interesa y no quedara libre el ofertante/timador tampoco podría vendertelo porque nunca lo ha tenido él. -

a veces uno es malo y ofrece mas por un dominio horrible de esos y cuando cae esta gente lo toma y... se lo guardan donde no les da el sol por un año
